Mexico weather is largely influenced by the diversity of the topography and a wide range of latitudes in all the country.
Mexico has several seasons but they are not necessarily the ones you have in mind. Mexico weather will be characterized by a dry season from November through April. The climate during this period will be relatively warm and dry. Rainfall will be virtually nonexistent. The region of the Yucatan is a great place to visit in November, but you can expect some storms at this time in the city of Cancun and Cozumel Island. The rainy season is often superimposed with the wet season. The heaviest rainfall will occur during the period from May to October. It is at this time that you may risk a hurricane or tropical storm. But it is also at this time that the days will be cooler and temperatures will be nicer.

The wet season is generally during the months of May, June and July. At this time of year the Mexico weather will offer relatively warm temperatures with an atmosphere highly charged with moisture. It will be good to know that when planning your trip to Mexico that the period of the low tourist season is between Easter and mid-December. This is of course the period covering the rainy season known as the wet season. The best weather to travel to Mexico will be from December until Easter.
